A great playing vintage Yamaha acoustic, this late 70’s example draws obvious inspiration from the Gibson flat tops of the 60’s but at a price perfect for players! The neck shape is very similar to a ’64 Gibson profile; large with a comfortable “D” shape, while the dreadnaught sized body with rosewood back and sides and spruce top give the instrument a tone you’d expect from a much more expensive instrument. This is one of the cleanest Yamaha guitars we’ve seen from this era, while the “Hummingbird” style pickguard truly makes this one stand out! EXC w/OSSC $600.
