Released in 1972, the second iteration of Fender’s Telecaster Custom model featured a unique, Seth Lover designed “Wide Range” humbucking pickup. The blend between this humbucking neck pickup and traditional Telecaster bridge pickup make for an extremely versatile guitar that found favor with players like Guy McKenzie of Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, as well as Keith Richards who used one as his primary guitar starting around 1978. This 1975 model is the same year as Keiths but in a rare “Mocha” finish. It features a great playing maple neck, original electronics and a much lighter weight body than many of these we’ve had. A great sounding Tele Custom in a rare finish! EXC w/OHSC $4,600.
