Initially released in the 1950’s, The “violin body” shaped Gibson EB-1 was a favorite of players like Felix Pappalardi of Mountain and producer of Cream records. The distinctive growl of the neck humbucker gives this instrument a unique, upright-bass style tone, while the small mahogany body, carved top, and 30.5″ scale make for a comfortable playing bass. This is example is one of the cleanest we’ve seen and includes the original hardshell case, as well as the chrome bridge cover. EXC w/OHSC 4,900
