A rare and early example of one of the most coveted “blackpanel” era Fender amplifiers, this 1964 model is one of the best sounding Vibroverbs we’ve heard! Made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughan, these amps are also popular with many steel players, as the original 15″ speaker offers a full tonal response with plenty of head room and the unmistakable Fender sound! When pushed to the edge, the bluesy breakup make this a perfect gigging amp. This amp was owned and used by session ace Tom Bukovac and has been professionally maintained. It features a 15″ Jensen speaker, early, “small font” Vibroverb Amp and “Electric Instruments” face panel, as well as the original transformers. The ultimate mid 60’s Fender amp! EXC $6,500.
