A clean and original example from Gibson’s “Golden Era” of vintage electrics! The ES-125 was an “entry level” arch top when it debuted, but it featured the same quality standards and materials as the higher end archtops of the era. The 16.25″ wide body features mahogany back and sides with a laminated maple top, mahogany neck, and unbound rosewood fingerboard. A single “Dog Ear” style P90 pickup in the neck position is perfect for mellow, jazz playing, but also howls when pushed making it a great guitar for gritty blues and rockabilly styles, as well. The guitar is missing the original guard but is otherwise in remarkable condition and includes the original nickel Trapeze tailpiece and floating bridge. EXC w/chipboard case $3,500
