A phenomenal playing LG-1 from Gibson’s Golden Age! This 1956 model features a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, as well as a comfortable ’50s neck profile that plays well all the way up. The center seam of the top has separated but an interior cleat has stabilized the top, and there is some light over spray on the back of the neck. These small repairs make this ideal for a player and don’t stop this guitar from sounding as good as you’d expect a 50’s Gibson flat top. The small body makes for a comfortable “couch” guitar while the unmistakable Gibson tone lends itself well to fingerstyle playing making this a great country blues guitar. VG w/HSC $3,500.
