No Money Down
While other stores charge hidden set-up or authentication fees, there are ZERO charges and NO up-front fees at Rumble Seat. Each instrument will be thoroughly inspected and authenticated by our trusted experts with decades of experience, given a full set-up, and professionally photographed all for FREE.
Name Your Price
At Rumble Seat Music, you get paid what you want. When taking in each consignment, we'll discuss with you the estimated fair market value of your instrument. You name your price and we'll be sure to price it accordingly to net you exactly what you want. We will never accept any offers or give any discounts without your approval.
No Commitment
Change your mind? No problem. There are no minimum or maximum time limits on consignments. If you decide you no longer want to sell your consignment piece, you are welcome to pick it up any time completely FREE of charge!
Maximum Exposure
Our dedicated sales team will provide a thorough and well-written description for each instrument. Your guitar will be prominently displayed in our showroom, on our website, and on all of our third-party sales platforms including Reverb and Gbase for maximum visibility.

• Not Local? Not a Problem!
We take in consignments from all over the world. If you're unable to bring the guitar to the store yourself, there are easy and cost effective options for shipping. You can either ship it to us yourself, or we can provide you with a pre-paid UPS priority shipping label. All our shipping labels are fully insured. We can provide detailed packing instructions upon request to insure your instrument arrives safe and sound. We won't charge you for the shipping label until your consignment sells. A flat rate of $150 will be added to our consignment fee if you choose to have us provide a label.
• What If I Need A Repair Before Selling?
All consignments will be restrung and set up for FREE. If your instrument requires additional repairs or maintenance to be presentable for sale, we will ensure you get an unbeatable discounted rate. Any additional charge for repairs or maintenance will be optional and will be discussed with you up front before you decide to consign it here. We won't charge you until it sells. Any charge will be added to the consignment fee.
• Will Rumble Seat Buy My Instrument?
Yes! We are always looking to buy more guitars. If you want to sell fast or would prefer to sell your instrument outright, we will be happy to take a look at it. Click here to learn more and sell us your gear.
