1998 Gibson Lonnie Mack Flying V “Cherry”

1998 Gibson Lonnie Mack Flying V “Cherry”

Just in to the store is a 1998 Gibson Lonnie Mack Flying V in Cherry. Lonnie Mack came out in 1963 with  the album "The Wham of the Memphis Man" and exploded on the charts with hits such as "Wham" and "Further On Up the Road".  Mack ordered a 1959 Korina Flying V from a Gibson catalog after he fell in love with it's unique look when he was in his late teens.  Eventually Mack would add a Bigsby tremolo arm with a custom made steel harness and he painted the guitar a cherry finish.  This reissue signature guitar features a gorgeous cherry finish, humbucker pickups, Bigsby with steel harness, dot inlays and a comfortable "C" shaped neck.  It also comes with a card signed by Lonnie Mack personally and the original case!
